Day 1.

​

Al Tirabuson is located appx. 90 km. east of Torino, nestled in the vineyards in the heart of the Monferrato region in Piedmont. When you arrive at Al Tirabuson, this unique boutique guest house, you will be greeted by your hosts, the owners of the guesthouse. After check in, you will have time to relax and settle into your tastefully decorated room. There is a fully equipped communal kitchen at your disposal if you are interested in making your own meal or snack. This evening there is no cooking needed, since you will be driven by your own private chauffeur to enjoy dinner in a romantic, typical Piemontese Restaurant with wines included. After dinner, you will be transferred back to your guest house.

Day 2.

​

After enjoying breakfast, you have the morning at your leisure, to explore the nearby town of Nizza Montferrato on your own. Your hosts can recommend several nice options for lunch where you may also be able to enjoy the famous red wine of the region, Nizza, a red DOCG wine made with Barbera grapes, whose production is restricted to 18 local municipalities centered on the town. You may even want to visit some of the local shops to purchase wine to bring back to the guest house or bring back home.

After lunch, enjoy a wine tasting with Aperitivo and a visit to a local wine cellar (self drive). If you still have room for dinner, your hosts will be pleased to recommend several restaurants for you nearby (dinner at your own cost and chauffeur available at an extra cost).

Day 3.

​

After breakfast, you have the morning free to explore the guest house and its surroundings. You may be interested to learn that the focus of Al Tirabuson lies on environmentally friendly tourism; therefore, they are particularly proud to use renewable energy sources such as geothermal and solar power/battery storage allowing them to be energy independent. For lunch today, your hosts will prepare a Picnic Basket for you to enjoy a romantic lunch in the vineyards.

This afternoon, your will be transferred by private car and your own chauffeur to the Bosca Underground Cathedrals in Canelli for a Spumante tasting and then to the Berta Grappa Distillery and Grappa Tasting. Dinner is on your own.

Day 4.

​

After breakfast, enjoy a guided visit to the local farmer’s market. Stay for lunch (at your own cost) and then return to your guest house, for some time to rest and relax. Alternatively, you can choose to  enjoy a spa afternoon in one of the various Thermal Centres around Nizza Monferrato (additional cost). Tonight, on this last night, enjoy a cooking class inhouse giving you the  “Taste of Piemonte” using seasonal products. And best of all, you get to enjoy the fruits of your labour at dinner, together with a glass of the local wine.

Day 5.

​

After breakfast, it is sadly time to say goodbye to your hosts and Al Tirabuson.  Even though you are leaving, these carefree moments will be a long lasting memory!
